Η έκθεση Shinrin-yoku διερευνά τη θεραπευτική επίδραση της φύσης και του αρχέγονου δάσους, καθώς και την έννοια του νερού σε συνάρτηση με τα περάσματα και τις διαδρομές του Édouard Glissant και το Γιουνγκιανό ασυνείδητο. Eπιδιώκει να εμβαθύνει μεταξύ άλλων σε μυθολογίες και έθιμα σε σχέση με τη φύση και το νερό. Τα έργα της έκθεσης, είτε πρόκειται για εγκαταστάσεις, φωτογραφία, γλυπτική, ΑΙ, εικονογραφήσεις ή φιλμ, επιδιώκουν την αλληλεπίδραση με τον βοτανικό κήπο, την περιβάλλουσα δασική περιοχή, τις λίμνες με νούφαρα, τα ξέφωτα και τα θερμοκήπια. υπογραμμίζοντας, παράλληλα, τον ρόλο του κήπου ως περιοχή προστασίας χιλιάδων ειδών χλωρίδας και ως καταφύγιο της τοπικής, άγριας πανίδας.

Shortly before her retrospective at the Hayward Gallery in London, renowned British artist Linder (Linder Sterling, Liverpool, 1954-), came to Greece to participate in a PCAI artist residency programme in Athens and Delphi curated by Kika Kyriakakou.

Searching for the Oracle is part of Siljeholm’s ongoing and long-term project “The Mountain Body”, based on the development of unique site-specific works in different locations. Together and over time these works and processes form a “mountain range” inspired by the nomadic movements of the continental shelves and the land surface, which are always in motion across borders and in various stages of transformation. The sites, research, and interventions that make up this mountain range can be understood as a community; a whole, that while possessing individual characteristics, is collectively rooted in one another, much like the ecosystems we depend on for survival.
